Some resources, pulled from the comments section of The Union's article Community Congress shares some green ideas -
Sierra Club Green Home - you can ask Qs, or avail yourself of their online resources. The impetus was a couple of Sierra Club leaders bemoaning how difficult it was to find the info they needed, to green their own homes.
For safe ridesharing, Keachie started SierraRides.com (although for now it's down, alas)
